Personal history
Erigone’s father, Laokalos, was the headmaster who destroyed the Tahmuras temple 364 years ago. Her mother, Luxenia, led the sect before her, and during the Qartagonian’s first occupation, her mother treated with the Emir and gained some new followers. However, during the last siege, Master Erigone had visions of the Massacre of the Sunstair Sanctum. She managed to get the rest of her flock to hide in the Old Monastery once again, but Luxenia was killed at the Massacre. Since then, she has maintained the secrecy of the sect by relaying the story of their destruction for generations. At this point, the Tahmuras of the Old Monastery are deeply skeptical of the outside world. They spend long days in meditative states, watching the flames until their eyes go blind. Once, the survivors numbered some 60 or so members. Now, there are only 24 survivors.
Erigone is severe, harsh, and views all outsiders as if not outright villainous then without a moral backbone.
She thinks Jubilee is naive and foolish and tolerates her presence only because she and her parents remain Tahmuras and she cannot risk losing more members.
She will insist the party be judged by the Martyr of the Migdal before they are allowed to access the Triptych Flame.
