Pranksters and Performers - Oh, and I Guess Dwarfy Got to Do Something (5e One-Shot)

General Summary

Dwarfy McForgeface was hired to repair the sign of the Bread and Butter Tavern in Morikawa Hamlet. Kendrick was traveling to Morikawa to see if he could learn skills from a roguish adventurer, and he was looking to eat at the tavern.
The two were enlisted by Morikawa Kyoko to help on her quest to recover items that the Treecrawly Tribe had stolen from the hamlet, such as the hamlet's tax money, various townsfolk's farming tools, and the missing letters on the tavern's sign.
Kendrick suggested he distract the goblins with a performance so Kyoko and Dwarfy could load the stolen goods on a cart to take back to the hamlet.
The party went with this plan. Kendrick convinced Chief Bloatbug and his advisor, Kriksong, to let him change into his costume in the privacy of the tribe's treasure tent, and he was able to retrieve the missing letters from the tavern.
Meanwhile, Dwarfy noticed a shifting black figure that turned out to be Kyoko, but he decided that wasn't his problem. The two found a convenient gap in the bushes around the goblin hideout that led to the back of the tent and easily smuggled out the stolen items.
After his performance, Kendrick followed the goblins back to the hamlet, where they said they just pulled pranks on the hamlet at the suggestion of the chief and his advisor, knowing nothing about the stolen tax money.
Kendrick noticed Kyoko saying things about his time with the goblins, but she said she just overheard it while sneaking around the goblin tribe's camp.
The party returned the stolen items to the citizens of the hamlet, who mentioned Kyoko was the chief's daughter. They then returned the stolen tax money to the chief of the hamlet, Morikawa Kaito.
