The primary religious text in the Pantheon of Oros is The Book of Oros. It is a complete anthology of each deity’s individual book, as well as the creation story and other stories of the Pantheon. The Book of Oros is said to have been written by the Heralds themselves. The first copies were assembled and published by an early priesthood known as The First Men 7 centuries ago.

Devout worshipers of Nasgar engage in physical combat to determine authority, settle dispute, and almost any other kind of conflict. They value strength, war, combat, justice, and honor above all else. They believe the more combat one faces, the stronger one becomes. Inferiors can challenge their superiors once per year in a week-long tourney in attempts to increase status. As such, the clergy changes over annually.
Congregation gathers once per week on Tuesdays. On the 7th day of each month, a ceremony known as Agri takes place, during which the strongest male in the congregation is publicly whipped to prove his strength and honor to Nasgar and his community. Once per year on the day known as Tornadon, the city of Eljudir hosts an annual tourney in honor of Saints Caluqull and Udoljir.
Quotes
“Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base.” ~Caluqull the Gladiator, Saint of Nasgar “All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.” ~Udoljir the Warrior, Saint of Nasgar “A pint of sweat saves a gallon of blood.” ~Caluqull the Gladiator, Saint of NasgarDivine Goals & Aspirations
In the most ancient of Nasgarian cities, Eljudir, combat training starts as young as age 3. At age 14, boys are admitted as Rijali, or “men of combat” and begin serving active duty in the regional army. At age 16, girls are considered Nisa, or “women of war” and are sorted into soldiers (highest honor), nurses (lower honor), and homemakers (lowest honor).
