Shifters: A Collection of Species

Shifters are a category of species all capable of some degree of innate shape-changing magic. Due to their shapeshifting abilities, and the carnivorous nature of many Shifter types, Shifters often encounter mistrust from other non-Shifter species. As a result, they tend to group together, both within their own kind, and with other varieites of Shifters. It is unknown if Shifters share a common ancestor, due to conflicting accounts of their history prior to the existence of the Third Scribes.
