Creation of the Underworld Black-market

Founding

Two decades after the founding of Lookout, a few members of the organization after witnessing all of the rare creatures and artifacts that resided all over the landmass thought these things could potentially amass them a fortune. Using what knowledge and access they've had within the organization they secretly sell these unique resources to different groups to make a profit from their dangerous lifestyles and even make connections with other groups for political power. In three years though their activities were discovered by the current director of Lookout and most of those who were involved were caught and or killed. One man however by the name of Edwardo Rodriguez managed to evade arrest and fled south with a few rare items and slowly amassing men by recruiting former slaves, prisoners, a few natives, and labor less workers to form his own cartel and organization. Given their secretive and under the radar dealings the group was dubbed the Underworld.   When the first world war broke out they managed to develop side branches across Europe hoping to take advantage of the ensuing conflict in order to obtain new artifacts or resources to develop new weapons and drugs. Which they also sold off to other small groups in Europe and Africa to make a profit and branch out even further around the world. During the fifties they began making deals with a few corporations by giving them access to many 'unknown' plants and material that could have only been found in environments maintained by many nonhuman groups. They started to take up interest in politics until the early eighties when the previous head was usurped by the current going under the alias Diablo. Not much else significant has yet occurred.
