Wildport

Known also as the Jewel of the Palm Coast, Wildport is a flourishing trade hub and adventure location. Founded in 201 CE after the famed adventurer Belin Wildmis purchased the land from local Lizardfolk and Orc tribes, the town was originally a small fortified location for the adventurers to return to after trekking through the jungles. After The city was officially founded it slowly grew to become a regular trade stop for merchant vessels traversing the southern coast. It also attracted many fishermen and farmers from surrounding areas looking for a fresh start.   With the influx in trade, many new settlers, as well as the booming economy brought on by the constant expenses and discoveries of local adventurers, the city grew quickly within the next 50 years. By 252 CE it was a well established coastal city, and at it's center stood 'The Golden Hall', the Command center for the 'Gold-Feather Adventuring Company' as well as the 'Hummingbird House', the lavish estate of Belin Wildmis and her family.

Government

Officially run by an Elected Comte (Lord), this area is also governed by a town council which includes a number of the 'Gold-Feather Adventuring Company' members, as they have a stake in both the history and political status of the city.

Defences

Defended by a small local Militia, as well as a detachment of the 'Gold-Feather Adventuring Company', this town also boasts tall stone walls, as the entire area is raised above the forest below on massive earthen ramparts.

Infrastructure

Much of the cities wealth is earned by Trade, however fishing, farming of spices and luxury goods, as well as the wealth of the Adventuring Company brings in substantial funds for the town.

By far the largest guild or group is the 'Gold-Feather Adventuring Company', as they are historically linked to the city.

Architecture

Most buildings here are of the traditional Grande Rocc style, however the older structures near the town center tend to resemble more of the Classical Lu Ven styles, as that is where the original settlers hailed from.

Geography

Nestled in the hazy jungles of the Palm Coast, and on the shores of the tropical Ixia Sea, this raised and fortified town is clearly visible above the surrounding rain forest canopy.
