Sergeant Bhel Krahd
Bhel Krahd is a sergeant of the Caravan Guard. He’s known for being a stern disciplinarian, a lover of coffee, and for his clean shaven face. An anomaly for a Dwarf. Coffee and a clean shave being habits he acquired when serving in the Hell Raiders merc company.
The Hell Raiders are famous for their valiant defense of the Ayaldi Gap, saving countless lives, and infamous for their sacking of the Elven city of Aluxxé at the behest of the orcish warlord Argmeer, and notorious for killing Argmeer when he refused payment. It was this act, along with many smaller questionable acts that finally led Bhel to split with the Hell Raiders. He is fond of saying, "One’s word and honor must be stronger than diamond". How Bhel was allowed to leave the company is unclear. It’s said “A Hellraiders soul belongs to the company in life, and to Asmodeus in death" Regardless, he was released from service and somehow has retained the respect of any Hell Raiders that he meets in his travels with the Caravan. While friendly with any individuals encountered that hail from his former mercenary group, he advises anyone who will listen to be wary of employing them and to be terrified of facing them.
He frequently gets into friendly arguments with the other Caravan sergeants on his insistence on camping in the most defensible location to the exclusion of all other considerations.

Sergeant Bhel Krahd In The Campaign
Bhel is a compassionate but tough leader. He could be a source of both information and adventure for the characters. He has been with the Caravan long enough to know the lay of the land in the immediate area where the Caravan regularly travels
He is always looking for extra hands to ride patrol along the Caravan perimeter. He needs to make sure the landscape near the camp is safe for both Caravan members and attendees
