Carmelia

Carmelia is the Ringmaster of the Dark Circus that follows the Caravan. She is truly a strange one. Fully the flamboyant entertainer in the ring, showcasing her troupe of freakish and odd performers, but intensely private outside of the show. She appears as a human with green skin, red eyes, and dark olive hair. But is she human at all? She is never seen in public without her Ringmaster’s Tophat

Her troupe consists of Hugo & Lugo the Ettin, always a favorite as he bumbles through his act. Carmelia casts a charm spell on him during performances so he doesn’t get angry and accidentally squash a kiddie or two. Nastha, the Snake Man, covered with scales, clearly a dangerous being to contend with. Spinera, the Hedgehog. A werehedgehog, if you follow her on the full moon she can be found, digging for grubs, roots and mushrooms. There is Molona the Pretzel Woman, contortionist extraordinaire. Her limbs can stretch to extremes that have never been seen by the Dark Circus attendees. She certainly draws a crowd! Lastly, is [b[Galt the Mirror, a doppelganger whom Carmelia saved from certain death at the hands of an angry mob.

Carmelia reports directly to the Master of the Caravan rather than Bree Dunnaford It's clear that Carmelia reveres the one who brought the incredible,magical, and philanthropic Caravan to life. What does she owe the Caravan Master to bring such obvious devotion from one as mercurial as the emerald skinned Ringmaster?

Carmelia in the Campaign

Carmelia can be a source of mystery and menace in the Caravan. A person whose motives are uncertain. She could serve as an ally and a source of valuable esoteric information. Conversely, if people are disrespectful to her or mistreat someone in her charge, you can be sure they have made a formidible enemy, regardless of the offender's status in the Caravan.
