The Capital of the Heptarchy, this city has been the seat of political power for generations. This city grew up around Castle Corwin, the first stronghold the original seven heroes used as a base of operations during the kingdom's infancy. Though the capital tends to move as different houses take the crown, this city has been the most common due to House Corwin's propensity to the throne. Additionally, this city was built atop an ancient Quiharan ruin, the confusing layout of which functions as the perfect defense against political enemies who wish to steal state secrets. The Slipways, as they are called, are the reason for House Bergenverth's presence in this city, and that in itself is the cause of the Zauberschule, the magical academy and head magical research institute of the Heptarchy.
