Herman the Baker
Herman the Baker is one of those that didn't accompany the Count of Herrir on campaign. He was injured as a child and thus finds walking any distance impossible. As a result, his home and bakery are dotted with stools, benches and alcoves between which Herman migrates during his daily round.
His mother taught him to bake in order to give him a role in the household, and he started selling his wares after his parents died of the Red-Pox. He has built up his business and even managed to attract a Dunlending wife (to the surprise of the town's residents).

Herman the Baker ws just 8 when he, foolishly, attempted to stop a stallion "Attacking" a mare. He was badly trampled and was lucky to retain the use of his legs.
