We Save Hero City!

General Summary
A week of travel later...
We arrive back in town and immeditately notice that the citizens are lethargic and absentminded. Flower notices a house with the door half open. The people inside are absently going through the motions of making a meal, however there is no food or even fire for cooking. Flower helps a man wandering the street in front of Eli's house who's been walking barefoot for what appears to be weeks. Flower & Samguise know the guy, Tom, who lives alone at the south end of the city near the inn. They look for his shoes. Sam finds the stinky local, James and he leads us to the spot where the color from space fell. It somehow surprises us and glows yellow while reaching for James with glowing yellow tendrils that siphon life from the poor man. He goes pale and we're all stunned.A fight breaks out!
I haul James away from the group to help reduce the negative impact he has on our party.Tilly launches several amazing Magic Missile attacks.
Bork Borque stays near Freyja to heal the ongoing ability score damage she takes from the yellow incorporeal menace.
Flower & Samguise both fill our hearts and minds with all sorts of amazing buffs.
Finally, with a MAXIMUM DAMAGE magic missile, Tilly finishes off the awful Color from Space. Three days later the folk of Hero City have recovered from the mind-numbing effects of the Color from Space and Eli awards us each massive cash prizes and an epic banquet to celebrate the survival of the city.
