Gantuka

The tribe lives mainly along the Basasran mountains and along with the Kadri The Gantuka have long fought the settlements along Kadri’s coasts, though reluctant to do outright battle with the Kadri , the Gantuka see little problem in quickly striking into the coast if they must during harsher grazing periods. But they much prefer to outskirt the surrounding villages often letting their reputation do their work for them and bypass the village's defenses that may take their herds to fertile grazing areas, away from the farmsteads.

In the ancient times of the mage wars the Gantuka held most of the southern coasts along with many other clans, a fact they have never forgotten, and a tally they have yet to strike with the mages of Kadri, but the Gantuka are patient, and they have often stroke down caravans from Kadri if they do not pay the toll, for all know that during the cold seasons, traveling from Kadri, should always be done with extra coin at hand.
Unlike many of the Karith, the Gantuka do not have many horses, given their mountainous home, as such it is rare for them to travel far, or even to Karlk’s gift, as such they have developed many strange customs in the eyes of the other clans. Many of them even fearing the Gantuka as rumors have it that they dabble in cursed arts, long left to be forgotten after the War of Tears.
But they are still well respected by many of the clans in Iron waste, not only for their martial prowess, but for their respect of tradition towards their brother and sister clans, allowing all refuge in the mountains during times of trouble, for as long as they can.

The clan is currently by Khundra Ulagan Keletai, an elected position among the mountain clans, for in truth the Gantuka are a confederation of many clans, who act largely independently from another, but go under common name, often donning different names when it suits them, this is often done during raids against the shoreline villiages. The position is elected based upon sacred rites and trails then judged by the different Mahars of each clan. Kundra Ulagan Keletai has proven a ruthless a leader of the gantuka, instigated many shadow raids against Kadri caravans and the coastal villaiges, further straining relations between them and Kadri, for they seek grazing lands that they permanently increase their herds, as the mountains became ever harder to sustain the increasing population.
