Ganbaanzra

A hardened mercenary who has been pushed out into the whispering dunes, the Ganbaanzra are hardened fighters and did originally migrate from the northernmost parts of Kathlam, being helped across the nitea by Rashim when it needed soldiers during the civil war. But now the Ganbaanzra live in the southern parts of the whispering dunes.
These lands have little which can sustain any nomadic pastoral groups, as such what remains is hotly contested by the tribes. The Ganbanzra have mainly sustained themselves as raiders in the southern parts of the whispering dunes, striking against villages and caravans around Fahdarm, while selling themselves as caravan guards for caravaneers going southward, offering them mainly protection against their own raiding parties.
They see little issue with such acts, for their lands cannot sustain them, as such they need gold to purchase food and services. They have a few semi-permanent settlements, mainly of which consist of iron mines where they take captives to mine the ore which they then sell.
The clan consists of around 5 to 7 roving raiding groups, of 20 to 30 members.

The Ganbaanzra are led by Khundra Anbazrad Delger. He has led his tribe for around 5 years, after a small internal schism between the clans, he has proven an effective and creative strategist for not only his racketeering but also raiding tactics which have elevated the Ganbaanzra in the region to one of it’s major clans.
