Aladathia Timeline

The first conflict between the regions known as The Shieldlands and Grecia begins, the war is sparked by the Shieldite Dwarves and Grecian Elves whose deep lying hatred for each other caused a minor border dispute that led to an entire war spanning 2 decades

After the death of the Grecian King, Theron the Avenger, the region is thrown into a civil war. His son, Crown Prince Arion II, is named King of Grecia by blood right, despite being extremely young. But 2 others lay claim to the throne and threaten his rule, each proclaiming themselves King under their own banners and seek to usurp the throne for themselves. An illegitimate son of Theron, King Damon, and a former military advisor, King Lakon.

After declaring himself the sole deity of Usilia and banning the worship of others, and the practice of their religions, various different plagues and curses started to befall regions around Usilia. Though none would dare say it out loud, many believe this is linked to the ban on the worship of the older deities.

A long standing peace followed the Jotun War but this ended when The Southern King of the Shieldlands decided to raid the Grecian lands and take for himself a Grecian Princess as his wife. This sparked a second conflict that was both longer and more bloody than the first.

The Orcs Clans of Hungola banded together for the first time. United behind a single warlord Gbuti Khan, they set their sights upon Grecia first. The Orcs conquered all of Grecia and forced a lot of Elves into Skjoldvegg in retreat. Half of Opatra and Mazteca followed but the Empire did not last for long, after the death of Gbuti Khan, it crumbled without proper leadership.

A third major conflict happened between the Shieldites and Grecians in the third millennium BR. Shieldites record that it was Grecian greed and lust for more land that started the conflict. Grecian records state it was Shieldite raiding that started the war. Other regions state it doesn't matter, what does matter is it resulted in the unification of the Shieldlands under one King and the creation of the Shieldwall Forts now each ruled by a separate Jarl.

The birth of Emperor Valtyv brought about the beginning of an era, an era of the most powerful Empire seen, led by the single most powerful mortal. The Empire lasted for more than 2 centuries, from the day Valtyv exited through the Emperors pass and began his conquering of all Southern Aladathia. The empire came crashing down when a united Ardatia waged a war to end the reign of Valtyv, who eventually fell at the hands of the 5 heroes known as Primal Dawn.
