Tower of the Tides
The Tower of the Tides is a crumbling stone structure situated on a small, isolated island in the midst of the Seynan Islands, off the western coast of Seynin Fant.
Built from local stone and designed with a circular base that tapers toward its peak, the tower once served as a lookout and defensive bastion against maritime threats. Today, it stands as a ruined monument, its walls crumbling and partially collapsed into the sea below, leaving behind an eerie reminder of its former strength and purpose.
Long ago, the tower was the residence of a renowned Shaper, Urimon Passtanar, who harnessed the power of the waves and winds to safeguard the islands from sea raiders and invaders. His magics allowed him to control the tides themselves, making the tower a beacon of hope and protection for the surrounding communities. However, after his mysterious disappearance, the tower fell into disuse and was eventually abandoned.
The Tower of the Tides now remains uninhabited, though locals believe it is still touched by Urimon’s lingering magic. During storms, strange lights are said to flicker within the tower’s shattered windows. Despite its dilapidated state, the tower is sometimes visited by adventurers and treasure-seekers, hoping to uncover lost artefacts or magical remnants left behind by the Shaper.
