Thalis

Thalis is a ruined city in the east of Mar Mabon. It was the capital of the Thalissian Empire until its destruction in the early 13th century.

In the centuries following the arrival of the Newcomers, Thalis grew into an important city. It was captured by Tekkaron early in the 6th century, but following his fall in 530, the city prospered further and became the hub of a new empire.
As the Thalissian Empire crumbled, the city was finally abandoned in 1202.
