Sons of the Dust

The Sons of the Dust were a rebel group in norther Teros in the 17th century. The movement developed in support of Shurok Trentin, the Lord of Kerenna, who declared a breakaway republic in the north of the realm in 1640.
The Sons of the Dust were successful in repelling the forces of King Lormand at the First Battle of Kerenna. Lormand was killed in the battle, and his young son Frishak III launched a second attack in 1643 (the Second Battle of Kerenna). The Sons of the Dust were defeated, and Shurok killed.
