medicinal properties.
Form and Appearance
Larionda is a tough, low-growing shrub with thick, woody stems and tiny, leathery leaves that conserve moisture. The shrub is covered with sharp thorns and produces spiked pods filled with small red berries during the dry season.
The roots dig deep into the soil, allowing it to survive in even the most arid environments.

Geographic Distribution
Larionda is native to the arid plains of the Naylin Desert in Mar Miskun, as well as the dry coastal regions of Remon. It is particularly common along the coastlines and semi-arid plains of the north, where it continues to grow even during periods of extreme drought.

The red seeds of the Larionda are harvested and used to treat a variety of
ailments, especially those involving fever and infection. The seeds are often ground into a paste or brewed into a tonic that is administered to the sick. It is particularly effective against the itchy flaking of
Hemachan and the soreness of
Whipburn.
In addition to its medicinal properties, the shrub’s tough roots can be used to make rudimentary ropes or other practical items in the absence of more suitable materials.
