Fort Oraminn

Fort Oraminn is a castle in the city of Elinann.
Perched on a rocky promontory overlooking the bay, the castle is the city’s main defensive structure. Manned by Peacekeeper forces under the charismatic Captain Serrak, the fort safeguards Elinann from pirate raids and other maritime threats while maintaining control over the Mabon Channel’s shipping lanes.
The castle is reached by a winding ramp that climbs up to the great gatehouse. A high curtain wall encircles a central courtyard. On the landward side of this stands the sturdy keep, while on the northern sweep of the wall stands the domed Tower of Gulsan-Tay, once home to a great mage.
The castle was heavily damaged during the War of Salvation, but has since been largely restored. Its outer wall and great gatehouse still show dark scorch marks from magical fires, but the broken sections of stonework have been rebuilt.
