12th century

The 12th century in Helerin was defined by the slow collapse of the Thalissian Empire, which lost significant territory and influence due to internal conflicts, external invasions, and uprisings.   The century's climax came with the fall of the city of Thalis, the once-great imperial capital, marking the definitive end of the Thalissian Empire's power. This event signaled a new era of regional autonomy and shifting power dynamics across Helerin.   Preceded by: 11th century
