Thaframaels Lamp
Developed by the Wood Elf Mage Thaframael, who explored the capabilities of Magic of Fire in the School of Elements. A Spell for dark places and easy light.
Effect
The Casting Mage conjures a simple fire no brighter than a lantern and no more destructive than a candle if unattended. Meant to provide light in dark places.
Manifestation
It appears as a simple plume of fire held in the Casting Mages hand.

The Mage compels the Mana of molecules to vibrate and create fire. But controls the fire so that it does not burn the Casting Mages hand.

Gestures & Ritual
The Casting Mage channels Mana for conduction.
Hold the hand in a cupping gesture.
Then motion the thumb to the middle over the palm.
Bend the middle and marriage fingers inward whilst keeping the index and small fingers straight.
Then return the middle and marriage fingers to their previous positions.
The Flame will manifest when done properly.
