Order of the Unimpeded Moon

Have you ever looked to the sky and wondered? Wondered how things might be different, how things might be better for you? And when you did, did the gods answer?   No?   Who was there, staring down at you, watching over you? That's right. The moon.   The moon is our stalwart companion, brothers and sisters. The gods will abandon you, they will turn a blind eye to your suffering, they will send you yet more hardship. But the moon simply watches. Is simply there. A friend, a companion and witness to your suffering, silently sharing in your pain. Commiserating, as best she can. She can offer no aid but her presence, and yet, she does not send us trials like the other gods. We are not tested, time and time again, subjected to the worst a mon' can endure.   And for what?   To make us stronger? To drive us to grow? I say no. I say the gods want us dead. And I'm telling you the moon told me that. Trust in the moon, brethren. You can always trust in the moon, even when all else around you is lies. Moonlight cuts through lies like steel through ice. If there is anything in my life I am certain of, it is this.   ~ sermon delivered by Dominus to the mon'toskur of Arísert
There are rumors of a cult spreading through the free'mon that live in Arísert. Spread from sermons delivered by a strange mon'toskur that was freed during the chaos that preceded the siege of the ðyrs, it has caught like wildfire. Independently of Dominus, the mon'toskur are now propagating his teachings, seemingly compelled with a strange fervor to spread the words he preaches.

I mean the moon is always there, so he's got a good point. Good Article! I'd love to hear some quotes from his apostles!

This has a lot of potential - I'd love to see it expanded further, especially the part about the compulsion to spread the word - there is a story behind that, I'm sure.
