Pavöto (Pah-voh-toe)
Pavöto is the chief sea port of Novaček and the largest harbour in Sevnónicha. Situated on the northern coast of the Westwythian Channel, Pavöto is one of the liveliest ports in the north of Wythe, due in no small part to the integration of the Aparnovosi population within its borders following the Fall of Aparnovos.
History
For as long as there have been Sevnóni plying the waters of the Westwythian Channel, Pavöto has stood as the epicenter of all mercantile activity. The ancient port predates even the capital of Novaček itself; when the legendary Roven the Dragonslayer burned Old Novaček to the ground thousands of years ago, the fallen chieftain's surviving Drużyna fled south and took shelter within the port's high walls, bitterly weathering siege after siege until the invaders eventually returned home.
