Circle of the Voice

The Circle of the Voice is a nascent order of druids who, unlike the Fae-aligned druids of Briar Glen, commune with and worship the earth, and the language it speaks. Founded by Vesser Rantari Highmore in 428 AU, druids of the Voice work to follow the teachings the earth has for them, and to protect the wishes of their fellow members.   Vesser discovered this form of magic through weeks of meditation following the severing of his connection to Fae magic - finding understanding and power in the Prase Opal, a stone found in northern Sevnónicha that is found to have a powerful resonance with the voice of the earth. Following this discovery, The Argent Company accompanied Vesser to the abode of Donnighal, a former druid of Briar Glen who participated in the expedition into Eastwythe to retrieve the Heart of the Amber Lord. He led the Company up a great mountain, where they met an Elder Tempest, an ancient elemental, guarding the peak. After a difficult battle, Kastus Iharovich Novalasky appealed to the beast's duty and devotion, and the Company was allowed to pass. It was at this peak that Vesser heard the mountain's reply, and chose a path that pursued this new form of magic.   Druids of this circle are especially proficient in Transmutation magic; they learn and understand the ancient language of Primordial, speaking to the land, skies, and oceans to learn from it and power their spells. To cast a spell through this language, you are asking the earth permission - its respect to you often leads to an answer.
