Bergeaux

"From verdant lands to vintner’s dreams" - Common Bergic Saying
Located east of The Autumnvale and north of Guarda Lagona, the Kingdom of Bergeaux had historically been a land of quietude under Imperial rule, where artists and tradesmen enjoyed the ethereal landscape. Many an adventurer have been allured to her lands by the mountains that pierce the clouds into the heavens, or the inhabited caves that lead to otherworldly discoveries. Perhaps instead they came to drink of her many vineyards, or sail upon the lilac waters of Lac du Vignoble (Imperial Wythian: Lake of the Vineyards). If the natural beauty of Bergeaux was not enough to entrance a visitor, they seldom ventured Eastward, into the barren void of the plains.

Early History

While few official historical records exist before the Empire entered into her history, Bergeaux has for centuries told their stories through their stonemasonry. Rather than put letters to paper, it is large ornate statues and etchings that the Bergic people chose to record their histories.
