Thydar
the Companion, the Holy Hound
Divine Domains
Thydar is the god of empathy, friendship, happiness, leafy trees, cooperation, and bad luck. He is by far the most popular of the Primeval gods, often given quiet reverence in many homes and in small roadside shrines. There are few devoted to him as such and no official clergy to speak of. There is however, the informal paladin group known as the Gentili Viandanti. These people each make a very personal Oath at a shrine, often one they built themselves. The only consistent part of each oath is the beginning “Thydar, most loyal, witness my vow…” and each Gentili Viandanti gains jade-green eyes after they make their oath.
Tenets of Faith
Ultimately Thydar is simply the embodiment of companionship through thick and thin. He only requires that those who follow him never abandon their friends and help those less fortunate. And there has never been an orthodoxy imposed under his name.
Holidays
During fall in the Vaylian Republics, there's a festival dedicated to Thydar usually lasting around three days. This is an occasion used to celebrate meaningful platonic friendships and family. It's associated with gift giving and fresh fruit, given its relation to harvest.

On Alignment
Though my tables will never observe strict alignment adherence, there are those who find knowing what alignments are common among a god's followers can be useful for roleplaying a faithful. Thydar favors those who are good aligned but will never deny a true cry for help and as such tolerates much from followers.
