da Gentili Viandanti
Gentili Viandanti are the paladin order dedicated to Thydar, the god of companionship. The order is extremely decentralized and the only consistent value held by individual members is the desire to help others. Often an older Gentili Viandanti will mentor a young person and help them craft their oath to Thydar. This all makes the order extremely individualistic and populated by a diverse group of people from all over the world. Gentili Viandanti can be found on every continent and seem to be able to sense when the innocent are in need of aid.
Rare are the times that Gentili gather in large numbers but it has happened. In 650 N.A. during the Revolutions of the Free Cities, a band of 200 Gentili Viandanti marched through over a hundred miles of Imperial territory to aid in the Free City Rebellions. The local lords, whether loyal to the crown or not, who's lands they passed through did not ever attempt to intercept them for fear of the bad fortune that would befall their house if they acted against these agents of Thydar. The Green Flags, as they came to be called, were instrumental to the early victories during the revolutions and the fame and prestige of the order was cemented in Ashweald.

"Per mes poplia"
Gentili tend to swear Oaths of Redemption or the Ancients. Very occasionally a more vain person who joins the order might swear an Oath of Glory but go beyond that and Thydar will not bless you. Additionally, your Divine Sense ability also allows you to sense the direction of a person in need of your aid.
