Southgardr

Southgardr is one of the two cities in Talatala-loka’s Gate that stayed heavily populated after the fall of the Álfr Kingdom. When álfar controlled this city, it was the center of silk production and the keeping of silkworms. With all the infrastructure already set up for producing the heavily sought after textile, the dvergar had the city heavily repopulated to continue the work. With the álfar gone, the city is now mostly home to therianthrope that are dedicated to silk production. As Southgardr is the soul home of the silkworms, the residents have a monopoly on the product and have grown quite rich because of it.
