Avatar of Misery

The Avatar of Misey is a physical manifestation of the major universal force of Misery. The Avatar is seemingly incarnated at random, capable of inhabiting any body of any race at the creature's birth, though the latest avatars have frequently been Drenovi. An Avatar is revered as a deity by those who worship Misery, and is capable of granting divine magics to their clerics.

While there is only one true Avatar of Misery capable of existing at once, there are powerful creatures of Misery deigned to be so-called lesser avatars. These have either been created through devotion to and tutelage under the true Avatar, or through thorough corruption by the forces of Misery. There are currently four lesser avatars, all capable of granting different boons to those who worship them:
