Aso

Aso is a human/halfling kingdom dominating the east side of the Akroasian continent. It borders the Golden Empire to the south west, the kingdom's only direct border. It is the undisputed original homeland of the halfling race.

Aso is ruled by humans who established the kingdom through what could be called conquering, though the process was entirely peaceful as halfling population did not seem to mind someone else taking over major responsibilities. Today, only a few halflings have political positions within the kingdom, mostly as mayors for minor towns and villages.
