Fort Vibenius

Fort Vibenius is the eastern most fort operated by forces under House Aetius.  Governed by Lord Marius of house Rhaskos, a small force of two units hold down Bronach' pass from the various dangers in the mountains - namely the Wyverns local to the area.  The fort itself is quite small and is barely able to accommodate the soldiers staying there.  Still the stables and well stocked granary sustains the infrequent merchants and scouts that delve into the hidden places of the mountain range.

Demographics

The soldiers of Lord Rhaskos are mostly human and half-humans with a few orcs and goliaths tossed into the mix.

Government

Lord Marius Rhaskos is the primary noble and military commander of the fort.  Despite his family being in the decline, he has served faithfully as the commanding officer of the Fort and made it into a bastion that can hold off everything the pass has to offer - at least for now.

Defences

Fort Vibenius is supplied with a well stocked armory, sturdy walls, and a specially designed war room that assist in mapping out the local area.  Two Units protect the Fort from a reinforced outer wall and a magically warded keep spread out over four levels.

Industry & Trade

Few merchants are stupid enough to make the journey through Bronach Pass, but those that make it can rest assured that the fort has the means to house them and fed them.  The fort's Stables have been upgraded to care for many mundane and magical beast which have made it a haven for weary travelers.

Infrastructure

The Fort was primarily meant to be a deterrent to any creatures within the Raging Rise and a rest stop for foolish merchants trying to save time delivering goods between Oudlen and Bonna.  Now with the war going on it is nearly obsolete despite blocking a exploitable path between House Blackharbour and House Aetius' land.

Assets

Much of the stonework that goes into building and maintaining the fort is found in the quarries that are nearby and relatively easy to transport.  Despite being small, the fort has quite a bit of storage and supplies to outlast winters and the creatures that most often pose a threat to it.

Architecture

The Stone wall that guards the fort is crafted of reinforced Wardstone.  The keep itself is separated on four floors, with one housing a large barrack that extends partially underground.

Geography

The natural geography around the fort is mountains to the east, and a low-land valley to the west.  Few trees are in the immediate area, but there are plenty of stone quarries and iron mines that have been tapped to help maintain the fort's structure.
