Lord or Lady
A Lord or Lady is a generic title given to nobles that are not in charge of governing the country or city in which they live. These titles could be the children of those who actually rule (such as a Duke, a Count, etc.) or they could just be wizards who have some skill in their field.
Depending on circumstances, Lords and Ladies could be quite popular or high up in social ranking. Some could even have influence over titles of that are technically of a higher standing. This is prominent for children of Archons or Dukes. While still only a Lord or Lady, they have the potential to fill their parent's role. While a Count has a higher standing than the son of a Duke, it would be most unwise to anger someone who could become the Duke (or influence their parent to reprimand said Count).
