It was the duty of the Mytilias Portal Guards to alert the administration of the portal whenever a traveler journeyed through the portal. When an hostile force came through, they were to sound the alarm. The portal itself was under the ownership of the Abalindi Beholo. They had stationed the guards at the portal. The guards' duty ended abruptly 40,000 years ago with the portal suddenly disconnected and never reconnected.
The Kofa Gini used to be alive with activity. The hustle and bustle of travelers all over the world filled the landmark with a buzz of languages. The door was a magickal portal, ready to transport travelers to another world. The Abalindi Beholos entrusted the Mytilias Portal Guards with the crucial task of keeping the portal safe and functioning seamlessly.
