Fall of the Tuzek Presidios

Disaster / Destruction

1090ME

After centuries of peace mediated between Tuzek, Quikuza, and Kiotza through tribute and trade mediated by a chain of fortress-camps, the presidio system was cut off from funding in 1064 and Tuzek's nomad allies began to leave their failing coalition. In 1090, Quiku and Kiotzan forces invaded Tuzek and forced the Tlakra to offer them lands. The primary group that took the deal, the Itzen, became their own ethnic group - half Tuzekan, half plains
