Siru the Alchemist

Siru Temkamasa was an ancient Healing Church alchemist from the Kingdom of Bilgaza in Southern Samvara. Now, he is a resurrected ghost-like spirit called a Vestige who appears when summoned by Arzet Devadov to aid him on his quest.
Siru was an astute businessman, capable chemist, and obedient member of the Healing Church. He was raised Pratasa and spent his life very firmly committed to rules and hierarchies. He watched the rise of the Great Empire that became the Sumoxan religion, the collapse of his home kingdom, and fundamental challenges to his religion go from taboo to dominant. Instead of trying to fix this collapsing world, Siru focused on mastering his particular role in it. He just brewed potions, sold medicine, tinkered with chemicals, ran caravans, and did well by his wife and children. And he did those things well! He went on to own a considerable estate and a fleet of caravans by the time of his death. His commitment to his job as his life ultimately led to his demise. Rather than retire after facing a bout of persistent ill-health, he insisted on leading risky caravans into his 60s and was exposed to a terrible storm. Undersupplied and weathered, old Siru died of pnuemonia on the road. 
Granted Powers:

• User can brew Healing Potions in their downtime
• Potions are a bonus action to use
• Speed increased 10 feet per round

Quirk:

• Siru just asks that the User not give out the secrets of alchemy except for legally designated institutions. Please, this humble merchant asks for so little compared to the other needy ghosts.
