The Prince's Ring is a Ring of Mind Shielding taken from the corpse of Prince Mazaru Eramzir. It likely originates from Asalay.
The Prince's Ring blocks all invasive mind reading, particularly from Detect Thoughts spells. The ring also protects the user from any Zone of Truth spells. 
It was taken by the God Squad during the Kreniko Coup.
