Plague Dragon

The Plague Dragon was a Plague Engine that drew on the Ekraht region's harvested energy to incubate the airborne mutation of the Rot Plague. It was killed before it was able to finish this process.
The Plague Dragon took the form of a massive Dragomander, elephantine in size when the God Squad confronted it. The Plague Dragon could, like all dragomanders, bind itself to someone - but instead of being the Familiar, the Dragon took the chosen mortal as its Familiar. It took Prince Mazaru Eramzir, an ambitious regional governor and wannabe emperor, as its Familiar in exchange for his protection while it grew under the city of Kreniko.
The God Squad confronted the Plague Dragon in late 2019 ME, using a combination of explosives, spells, and blades. They harvested some of its unrealized power to create the magic weapon Unagi.
