High Ibithan

High Ibithan is a mutually intelligible group of languages that cover central Ibith. It is the trade tongue of the continent, as well as a symbol of continental unity and identity.   High Ibithan is a language group carried by the Ibeth peoples when they first settled the coast in the early Divine Era, which then fused with the surrounding language groups and drifted apart. The appearance of the Isethra Tree reinvigorated Ibithan trade and made the local dialect near the tree a dominant trade tongue, which brought the Ibeth languages together again. The arrival of the Runevan language in the mid-Modern Era, associated with foreign Sonevan culture and authority, pushed the Ibithan languages together again later on.

How to Generate Ibithan Words

Generally speaking, High Ibithan is made from smashing Russian and Xhosa together. You can draw from the component languages individually for names, but be aware that players will notice many Russian names as such.
