The Missing of Galdem 2

General Summary

Sula transformed into Korrine Grannitespine to take a look inside the Dockside Prison.  She could not find exactly where Ray was on her initial walkthrough, but determined that there were few enough guards that her team could probably take them.  The group instigated a prison riot, killing several guards and Guard Lieutenant Brahhk.  
They forced some of the guards to take them to where Ray had last been seen, a torture room on the second floor of the prison known as "The Black Cell." Inside they found a table, and a small cell. Smerdas realized one of the torch brackets was a secret lever. Pulling it made the bottom of the cell area fall out.  Below was a 15 foot drop, and a headless skeleton.  Xy started to lower himself, but then a pseudo pod from a Gelatinous Cube struck him.  His friends pulled him away and shut the door, certain the skeleton was Ray and he was now gone.
They returned to Gorath, Consulting Detective, and reported their findings to Petrona Denforth, who agreed to pay more to find out who and why Ray had been killed.  The team decided to stake out The Iron Ring, and eventually found Vera Spinecrusher and Nara, who had to go do something for their boss, Isabella.
Following the two thugs into a shed that led to the sewer behind Lavender Waters, they tailed after them.  In the sewers, they found several zombies, each with malachite crowns.  Smerdas eventually determined these were made at The Finer Things.  They enhanced Charm Person and Animate Dead spells.  
Eventually, the sewers gave way to a marble room.  Inside, was a zombie made of several bodies sewn together.  It knocked Strife Cloud and Xy unconscious.  Most of the group went back to recover, but Sula stayed behind, hiding in the waters.
When Vera Spinecrusher and Nara emerged, they found the dead zombies.  Vera went to tell Isabella, and Nara stayed behind.  When she was sure they were alone, Sula summoned her tentacle, and then lured Nara to the water's edge.  She killed Nara, and then left the body in the middle of the room.
When Isabella and Vera returned, they were upset to find Nara dead.  Isabella told someone named "Jogmeth" to stand guard while she and Vera went to consult with Telgarn.  After Vera and Isabella left, the rest of the team rejoined Sula to explore the rest of the marble area, a secret lab below Lavender Waters.  
In the next room, they found a body stitched together of Ray's head, and someone else's torso and a third man's arms.  the body was missing below the waist.  In the next room, they found a series of cells, and the aqueduct that brought fresh water into the bathhouse.  On a boat on the water was a robed figure, who turned out to be Telgarn .  While he had a deal with Isabella, he was not overly protective of her or her lab.  He let them ransack her office, where they found Isabella's Journal 
They learned that after Isabella found that the lab was compromised, she skipped town.  Sula made a deal with Telgarn.  In exchange for a human sacrifice, he would bring Isabella back.  Sula sacrificed a sailor to the merrenoloth, and he delivered a sleeping Isabella.  Strife drank her blood with no restraint.  Then Sula and Strife moved into the lab.
