House Lahw Ran

Boisterou and zany, politically unambitious yet industrious.... the (Human)Noids of House Lahw Ran are never stale, never stagnant. They are people of the rivers, masters of flow and the sacred rhythms of nature... The family isn't really a family but rather a merchant guild that knows the rivers better than any Noids in Hafiz. However, House Lahw ran is not a centralized organization but a collection of individual companies that work in flow with one another. Oftentimes, it is frustrating for other houses or organizations to try and work with the Lahw Ran because of their non-traditional and sometimes unpredictable methodologies.

Structure

House Lahw Ran can be said to be loosely divided by geographic location... half of House Lahw Ran live on the banks of the Silver River and the other half on the Gold River. Generally speaking, the northern half are spiritually flowing and uninvolved in the political landscape of Hafiz. While the southern river people are deeply meshed into the Old Port and The Cinder Biters matrix of trade and toe-stomping.
The one public spokesperson that does exist for Lahw Ran is Bag Dubois, who lives in an undercity Halfling burrow network on the Silver River. Bag is the owner of an adventuring company that often sponsors dangerous and zany expeditions.

Public Agenda

Dey are duh river crottes, river rats... pee sais of flo ting marde... dey don want any ting but make happy now... dey don't talk biness coh rect, des don't do bisness coh rect... forget about dem.

Nolat Neaj

There is no Lahw Ran public agenda because there is no public centralized leadership. There are however, Lahw Ran leaders and their corresponding business networks... but other houses do not have access to these leaders and their networks... leaving large trade gaps that the Lahw Ran people benefit from. River shipping (import/export) is a good example of this... The Lahw Ran manage the supply chain for many Houses counting on their goods to reach their respective destinations but the negotiation of these business terms are not straight forward or standardized. furthermore, in Winter months, merchants rely on the Lahw Ran for breaking river ice and for navigating the river-pirate-problem.
