ESRN

Summary

Often ESRN is framed as the foil to SRN; the darker energy/entity that is in opposition to SRN and competing with SRN for contact with Noid consciousness. Physical representations of ESRN are extremely varied and they are often woven into religious iconography... demons, devils, monsters, evil insect overlords all feature. The essence of ESRN is that he/it/she is described as a deceiver, as a force of evil in the world. Also, physically represented as a nemesis that lays in wait in the shadowy depths of our world... a floating eyeball of flesh, or a clan of subterranean peoples who are in an evil hive-mind type reality with one node of intelligence driving it... ESRN. There's been a significant increase in artwork, anecdotes and fairy tales cropping up around ESRN since Spore Liquor has become accessible to the common Noids of Hafiz. This cultural resonance of ESRN has caused many Septon/Septa's to integrate it into their evangelical framing of the Seven Faced God.

Historical Basis

No clear historical basis is accepted. But there are beliefs that it was ESRN that was the mastermind of the Orc invasion during The Eclipse.
