Personal history
Olin Ivarsen was born to a lowly prostitute in Baldur's Gate and immediately abandonned to the Church of Lathander. He was raised in one of their orphanages and joined the military as soon as he could. He showed him self to be an able soldier, excellent in performance of his duty and in his character. Eventually, he was recruited into the Lords' Alliance. He worked his way up the ranks to be assigned the Captain of the Watch for a new border keep on the edge of the Anauroch Desert. He has overseen this project from inception to its current state. His superiors feel he is doing well, but Olin secretly doubts it. He is afraid that he will be seen as inadequate and pulled from the mission to be replaced with someone younger and more driven.
