Kőrércarc | One Who Falls

The head of the "church" in Csúnckak | Blonde Antag's Theocratic City-State. Name translates roughly to "one who falls"-- stemming from how even the most 'perfect' mortal must still fall in the presence of their god(s). Also has come to mean that the Kőrércarc takes the fall for their people-- that they put their people before even themselves.

Requirements

The most important requirement for a Kőrércarc is their beauty. To [their religion], physical beauty is the basis of purity and goodness-- and proximity to the divine. Similarly important is magical ability (or potential, depending on the Kőrércarc choosing)-- another, more exclusive, way to relate to their god(s) and fulfil their many duties.
For most of history, it was believed that the Kőrércarc must be male. This was mostly due to the patriarchal structure of [the religion], as [sisters] and other women were seen as lesser. Vov'Taloz (blonde antag ) was the first Kőrércarc to ever choose a female successor.

Appointment

Chosen by the previous Kőrércarc, with power transfer upon their death. It is believed that the first Kőrércarc was chosen by [most important god to them].

Accoutrements & Equipment

As with all in [the church], they wear billowy white garments. Materialism is seen as sinful, so none in the church wear jewels or most accessories (only allowed to wear amulets). The Kőrércarc is distinguished by the minor Magic Staining/Discoloration on their fingers or hands, as they are the only member of the [church] that is able (and allowed) to regularly use realtively powerful magic.
