Flach River
The Flach is a wide, slow moving river which flows from the Easternmost extent of the Beresto Mountains in Vinmur, through the heart of Romborn, along the Southern edge of Sherpmel, to the sea in Veircourt.
Due to its easy temperment and connection through the heart of the country it is the major trade corridor for bringing goods inland from Lomren. At any time, travelers crossing one of the bridges that span the Flach will see a dozen barges moving up and down its flow, bringing livestock, textiles, and produce east to Tulluran and Lomren and gold to the farmers of Romborn.
Regular flooding during the month of Donner makes the expanse of land around the river incredibly fertile and sought after in the already competitive land market of Romborn. Few people would give up land in Romborn and many would kill for a parcel along the riverbanks, either for growing or dockspace.
