Tensions between the dragosn lead to a separation

Until this point, all dragons, chromatic and metallic served the Emperor. Sadly over the years tensions began to rise between the two factions. The Metallics wished to aid many of the other nations in recovering from recent wars and bring peace through prosperity. The Chromatics were still angry over many defeats, and wished to start a new war, which the Emperor refused. Things only got worse when the two groups began to become openly hostile to each other, even attack the others. Grandur, an old gold dragon, spoke with the Emperor and requested that the Metallic be granted liberty. The Emperor agreed, fearing a terrible civil war, but one one condition, that the Metallics never aid the other nations in any conflict against Plutoria. They agreed, and to this day no dragon has fought against the Emperor.
