Ibros
Probably one of the most difficult gods to comprehend, Ibros is depicted as a doctor or a patron of a theatre wearing an opera mask. Ibros has few temples dedicated to his worship yet most universities and schools have a small shrine dedicated to him. He is a very driven god who is always focused on his next invention, experiment, or project. This leaves him with very little time for relationships with the other gods or even his followers.
Some believe that Ibros was responsible for building some of the more iconic structures in the world such as the bridges over the Nectar river.
Many of the more common folk believe he is a cold and uncaring god, but his followers say he has high standards for his worshippers, only helping the most gifted of his devotees. Ibros then sends one of his daughters, Clarity, Muse, and Inspiration, to give the worshipers the help they need.
He is not in opposition to any one god, but he finds a few to reckless or dangerous. Rubicon, Mahdis, Praemark

Holy Books & Codes
The Infinite Blueprint
A mystical scroll said to contain the plans for every possible invention or creation, but only a fragment of it can be deciphered at any one time. Followers believe that each person can glimpse only the parts of the scroll that align with their personal potential.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The Clockwork Eye
A circular symbol with intricate gears and cogs surrounding a central eye. Symbolizes the pursuit of knowledge, the precision of invention, and Ibros' ever-watchful gaze over his creations. Commonly inscribed on blueprints, architectural plans, or academic scrolls. Engineers and inventors sometimes carry a small token bearing this design for luck.
The Eternal Gear
A simple cogwheel surrounded by an unbroken circular line, indicating endless movement. Symbolizes continuous innovation and the interconnectedness of all creations. Etched into tools, weapons, and devices created by Ibros’ followers. Found on the entrances of workshops or laboratories dedicated to him.
The Divine Spark
A single glowing ember surrounded by darkness, symbolizing the birth of an idea. Painted above desks and workshops of great inventors. Worshipers meditate upon it when facing creative blocks.
Tenets of Faith
Failure is a Teacher, Not a Curse
There is no disgrace in failure—only in refusing to learn from it. Every mistake refines the mind and moves it closer to divine understanding.
Madness and Genius Are Kin
Do not fear unconventional thought. Many of Ibros' greatest disciples were seen as fools, heretics, or madmen before their brilliance was understood.
Even the Gods Must Adapt
Ibros himself does not claim absolute wisdom. His work evolves, and so must his followers. To resist change is to betray his vision.
The World is an Unfinished Project
The universe itself is an invention still in progress. Mortals are not mere observers—they are engineers, sculptors, and builders of reality.
Rituals
The Inventor’s Trial
A coming-of-age ritual for Ibros’ followers. Participants are tasked with solving an impossible problem. Success is not measured by the solution but by the creativity and perseverance they demonstrate. Those who impress are said to receive a vision of one of Ibros’ daughters.
The Forge of Reflection
A meditation ritual where devotees craft small, imperfect items like flawed rings, crooked figurines, or unfinished tools. These items are then placed on an altar to Ibros as an offering, acknowledging that imperfection is part of the creative process. They are then tasked with making a better version of the offering and placing it on the altar as well.
The Communion of the Fractured Mind
Worshipers drink a potion of Unstable Insight, made from rare alchemical substances, and attempt to write down all their thoughts before the effects fade. The words written during this state are believed to contain fragments of divine knowledge—but only the worthy can decipher them.
The Sacrament of the Ticking Heart
A ritual to synchronize one's mind with the rhythm of the universe.Worshippers meditate to the sound of a mechanical clock or heart-powered device. It is believed that in perfect synchronization, one can hear the "heartbeat of Ibros," revealing truths about time, mechanics, and fate.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
The Eternal Machine
A prophecy speaks of a machine designed by Ibros that will bring eternal balance to the world. Scholars debate whether this is a literal invention, a metaphor for an ideal society, or something beyond mortal understanding.
