Zeshirah and Banji

The Imperial Heirs (a.k.a. The Imperial Twins)

Zeshirah and Banji are identical twin brother and sister and heirs to the Aster, Emperor of Exum, and his first wife Itege Selbe.

Appearance and Character

As children the twins looked so much alike it was hard to keep them apart. Zeshirah grew to be taller than her brother by an inch. At a young age, both took their vows in the ritual of the Road of Warriors but even as Banji was more skilled in the martial arts, he leaned more towards learning and later took on the Road of Scholars and consequently the Road of Kings in an attempt to gain his father's affection and admiration that he showed to Zeshirah.

The twins since birth vying for the Aster's affection, a game that Zeshirah has always won. Banji has no aspirations for the throne, but just his father's love and admiration. But due to that, when his sister takes the throne, instead of holding a spear for her, he'll be sent to Palace of Exiles or some other Cold Palace as a way to execute the threat that he is to her.
