The Wailing City

The Wailing City also known as the City of Accusers is a major city of the The Blessed Empire of Woe, reclaimed from Gnesh, located in the western edges of the empire. It’s known for its large populace but mostly as the home of the Empire’s Accusers, ascetics, and philosophers. In the south of the city is the Grand Accusitory Temple, the huge amphitheater-style temple and seat of the Grand Accuser.
The Wailing City is also the home of the Bronze Bell of Woe, once used to alert people of the expansionists kingdoms, now a bell resides in all woeish cities and towns, but not to alert the people of expansionists but to call them to arms to take back their lands. The bell is tended to by deaf warrior-monks called, Ghomaata, who belong to an order called the Branch of the Silent Few.
