The High Tower

Purpose / Function

The High Tower serves as the main base of operations for House Thothmeties, oldest of the Great Houses. It serves as the central bank for the entirety of the Empire, where wars are won and lost with a data pad and a promise.

Alterations

Expansions on the High Tower have been added over the years, mostly to accommodate the additional people and facilities needed by the Reclaimers.

Architecture

Ancient brutalistic solid metal surfaces appear throughout the original construction. a almost marble like substance from the Dark Ages. It holds many secrets of that time as well as the secrets of the Reclaimers. To the rest of the Great Houses they are seen as outcast, but that's not fair to their position in it. They are debatably the eldest of the houses and have survived much turmoil.   Should the tower ever come under threat it has brutal autonomous defenses in the original sections. The strange white marble like walls will open in slates revealing strange organic maws. When it goes berserk it will kill all in the area without exception. It is said only the 7 circle masters and the Magnate are able to control the Tower. There have been many Ex-Bithiah Slave rebels that have attempted to take it down, each time the Tower has brutally consumed them.

History

The Tower was originally Vault Baset in the before times. Back when the surface of mars was a brutal hellscape created by the warring tribes. Buried deep in the earth. House Bithiah often will bemoan the loss of the High Tower during the First Blood Feud, often referring to it as the Stolen Vault. This has given way to a derogatory term for Reclaimers being used often, albeit outside of their presence, the first claim is always a Reclaimers.

Tourism

Entry into the High Tower is controlled, but relatively easy to achieve with the right connections and resources. As the central bank structure of the Empire it is where great commerce and connection is made. Those outsiders that are allowed to visit should be grateful guests, because even being in its halls is said to bring untold fortune.
