The Old Mill
A relic of bygone Greyhawk, the Old Mill continues to churn ceaselessly, as it has for generations.
In an era of expanding industry and change, this humble yet indispensable structure has grown more vital than ever—for it is the only functioning mill in the Free City.
Staffed by six millers at a time, the mill operates without pause, one of the few workshops in the city that never sleeps. Though it has little in common with Clerkburg’s scholarly atmosphere, it remains here because this is where it has always been.
The mill is owned by Lord Wheatsmill, a descendant of its original founder. Though he now resides in the High Quarter, far from the toil of the workers, he entrusts the daily operations to his overseers, ensuring that the millstone never ceases its slow, steady turning.
